Here's a simple, better-for-you alternative to store-bought granola bars. Control the ingredients in your food! I got the recipe here.
This is one of my favorite healthy desserts: Start by peeling, slicing, and freezing 2 ripe bananas. Once frozen solid, add these to a food processor or high-powered blender and process until creamy. (You may need to let the frozen bananas thaw out for just a couple of minutes to allow for easier blending, depending on how thick you sliced them.) Add a handful of chocolate chips - I used dairy-free dark chocolate here - and pulse until chips start to break up. Enjoy!
